Education Philosophy

"Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man" - Swami Vivekananda

Universal humanhood and spirituality are the most tenable integrants in the traditional Indian educational system. Modern educational system brings with it modern languages like English and also ideas on business, management, and some scientific progression. It is important that both go hand in hand. Only then, will we be able to do justice to education, to our children, to make them capable of establishing their unique domain in this world. Therefore, starting from our pre-schools to our higher educational institutions, we follow the educational philosophies rooted mainly in traditional Indian thought without negotiating the important scientific contributions of the west. We concentrate on the overall physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual well-being of the child thus paving the way for holistic development.

Through many activities like agriculture in the younger age and eco club in the senior years we teach our students that we are a part of nature and gear them towards sustainable living. Through our multiple camps on disease awareness, donation camps including blood camps we teach our children about the problems in society, about the importance of life and the importance of contributing to our society in every way possible, and to take care of our fellow-beings. Equal importance to cultural activities, sports, etc. is given in the curriculum throughout all our institutions at all levels. Through the various festivals of India that we celebrate and through our inclusive but diverse cultural environment in our campuses we teach them inclusivity, compassion, and consideration for a cultural ecosystem with values. It is thus that we inculcate the Indian principles of Dharma such as honesty, self-restraint, purity and goodness of intent, compassion, forbearance, generosity, etc., in them.

Children at any age are curious and their questioning attitude is nourished through our experiential learning atmosphere. Experience itself is life and our children are better equipped with life skills as suitable as per their age level.

Children are already perfect the way they are and it is achieved through education that is imparted to them, whereby they discover what lies already hidden in them. This is what our predecessors have taught us and this excellence is what we continuously strive to achieve.
